Observe and reflect

Final Reflection
I never thought you could cover so much content through games based learning and gamification.
Thinking about the game I’ve designed for Japan under the Shoguns it would have changed some of the learning behaviours of my students. It can cover a wide range of content and concepts and also promotes critically thinking.
The key element for that I got out of this process was the fun factor. If students are having fun while they are learning, the learning process
becomes less onerous. It promotes healthy competition and is way to encourage student interaction.
It can also provide differentiation in the classroom as the gaming process reflects different learning styles and capabilities.
This was a real valuable PD and I can’t wait to use my game ( when refined and perfected) in the classroom.
